In 1972, the 7 Hills story began with the founding of 7 Hills Paving by Sam’s grandfather. Through three generations of family owners, 7 Hills Paving helped pave the way for the founding of 7 Hills Striping in 1996 here in Madison, WI.
With 25 plus years of being in business, we’ve become recognized as an industry leader in striping and asphalt repair. We represent clients located all over the Midwest. Today, 7 Hills Striping offers a wide array of services for residential and commercial customers.

Sam is Owner & Operator of 7 Hills Striping. He started the business from the back of his Jeep in 1996 when he was 18 years old and has grown it to where it is today. With over 40 years of experience, he has the background and understanding to ensure a quality job that exceeds his clients’ expectations with a knowledgeable staff backing him.
As Chief Financial Officer of 7 Hills Striping, Melissa Ross brings a sharp financial acumen and strategic oversight to the company’s operations. With extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, and growth management, she ensures the fiscal health and long-term sustainability of the organization. Melissa plays a key role in guiding business decisions through data-driven insights, maintaining compliance, and optimizing performance across all departments. Her leadership supports 7 Hills Striping’s mission to deliver reliable, high-quality asphalt and maintenance services throughout the region.
Greg is our Operations Manager at 7 Hills Striping. Starting his career here as a boots-on-the-ground laborer in 2019, he’s worked his way up to managing our company’s day-to-day responsibilities and overall operations to ensure everything runs smoothly. He is well versed in everything to do with parking lot maintenance – from asphalt to concrete and everything in between.
Hali is a dedicated team member at 7 Hills Striping, where she plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. At the front counter, Hali provides friendly service as she rings out customers and answers their questions. She also manages essential paperwork for a variety of jobs, helping maintain organization and accuracy. Hali’s reliability and attention to detail make her a valuable part of the 7 Hills team.
